Diversification is a common strategy that has been used by many companies but it is not known whether the diversification strategy can affect the company's performance. On the other hand, researchers also want to know whether the existence of managerial ownership can strengthen or weaken the influence between diversification strategy on company performance. The research was conducted on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period of 2013-2015 and using multiple linear analysis method. Of the 136 companies there are 50 companies that meet population limits. The number of samples used in this study amounted to 150 data. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the manufacturing company's annual financial statements. The result of this research is that diversification strategy (related and unrelated) have significant influence to company performance. And moderation variable of managerial ownership can not strengthen diversification strategy (related and unrelated) to company performance.
