Trade Secret grows in line with industrial progress and cultural development almost in all fields which are competitive and individualistic. Trade secret as a part of Intellectual Property Rights deserves protection as given to other objects of Intellectual Property, such as patent, copyright, mark and industrial design. The protection of Trade Secret is given if an information is considered secret and has economic values, and as long as its secrecy is maintained with necessary efforts. The Trade Secret Rights in Indonesia is still new. And, it has been for the first time enacted in Law of The Republic Indonesia Number 30 Year 2000 Regarding Trade Secret which includes methods of production, methods of processing (preparation), methods of selling, or other informations in the field of technology-and/or business which has economic values and is unknown to the public.
