Background: In 2012, the incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia is 98,000 cases. The high case of cervical cancer is probably due to cervical cancer in the early stage has no symptoms , so that when cervical cancer is known but has reached an advanced stage. Cervical cancer can be detected early with Pap Smear, the actions performed are safe and most widely used. However, the level of participation in Indonesia is still low, due to lack of knowledge, fear, costs, and health facilities. Objective: To asses level of knowledge women in reproductive age about Pap Smear. Design: This cross-sectional study was conducted at a Pap smear social service held in April 2017 at Gereja Kristen Indonesia, Jatinegara, Jakarta. Pap smear knowledge is measured using questionnaire. The results are considered good if the score =6 and considered low if the score = 3 Results:Out of 120 respondents, the level of knowledge about Pap Smear was largerly good (55%), well-informed (32.5%), and less knowledgaeable (12.5%).
