Isi artikelPositive airway pressure (PAP) therapy is indicated for patients with obstructive sleep apnoea/hypopnea, or those experiencing excessive daytime sleepiness or coexisting problems such as hypertension. In addition to eliminatng apnoeas and hypopneas, continuous PAP (CPAP) has been shown to improve dayetime sleepiness, mood, vigilance, and attention, and decrease the risk of motor vihicle crashes. However, adherence to CPAP therapy is a major problem. This update reviews the latest interventions to improve compliance.
