For ensure fruit quality that is desired by the community, is important to be tested by Texture Profile Analysis test on the fruit sample. In the texture profile analysis test usually uses a double bite test system, which the system has control a probe up and down twice (generally) which resembles human bite contraction, from the test will displayed in graphical form, the result will be analyzed how strong and resistant the food will resist. However, in most of the existing Texture Profile Analyzer has the cost of manufacturing and equipment, that can be afford in medium-small industries, from this proposition the author uses Arduino board that controls the motion stepper motors to drive the probe, which later the compression force probe that detected by Arduino will be processed and optimized, so that the results displayed by Arduino simillar from that generated by the normal texture analyzer. In this final project will discuss how to identify the strength and crispness of the material, and how to design a tool with the same function, with a small cost in the hope that the results are similar from Normal Texture Profile Analyzer. |
