Rain water harveting by utilizing the roof of a building is generally an alternative in obtaining a source of clean water that requires less processing before being used for human purposes. Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) is an alternative way to empower rain water to be used for human needs of clean water. Faculty of Medicine Atma Jaya Catholic University and Atma Jaya Hospital did collaboration with CCFI (Coca Cola Foundation Indonesia) exclaimed Water for School Program. Currently, the rainwater harvesting system has been run by three schools. The schools are scattered in 3 main areas namely Pejagalan, Kapuk Muara, and Muara Angke. Kapuk Muara District is represented by SDN Kapuk Muara 03 and SMPN 122 schools, and for Kamal Muara area is represented by SDN 01. There are some problems arising from complaints submitted by officers such as difficulty to clean water filters, no regular schedule for Cleansing or maintaining RWH, and difficulty in cleaning the roof due to the limited ability of officers. To overcome this problem, QFD (Quality Function Deployment) is being used to solve the problem so the user special needs can be known to be developed. Design planning, part planning, and process planning are used for QFD process. The output of QFD is an updated of RWH filter design, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and RWH Cleansing Schedule in calendar form. |
