Abstract
Garbage is an often problem that encountered in life. Trash has come from our daily activities, industry, agriculture, plantation, market, etc. Ponggang village located in Ponggang Village, is a hamlet on the hillside and has access far enough from urban areas. The livelihoods of local people are rice farmers, farmers and ranchers. The amount of waste agricultural waste generated to make the author want to apply this biogas tool to be applied in the village in an effort to reduce waste residual and daily needs of local people in the use of firewood will be reduced. In previous studies gas can not function optimally because of the material that is not appropriate, and do not use a starter to generate methane bacteria. Before designing concept alternatives, it is necessary to describe the functions in the biogas tool through the functional structure. After that the next step is to design the concept using the morphological chart. After obtaining some alternative concept by using Pugh Concept Selection and do concept evaluation by using decision matrix. Then analyzed to produce Product Design Specification, which is biogas tool by using horizontal water drum, type of funnel 3 with pipe and hose used to drain gas to shelter that is plastic balloon, and the main material is HDPE plastic. Then made the finished product.
