Isi artikel
Some of the main concerns brought out by the five panelists in the Symposium on Bateson's Mind and Nature which was held at the University of the South Pacific, January, 1982, are briefly summarized by the Symposium Chairman. Gregson's objection to Bateson's neglecting "the intrinsic mathematics" and Diorio's allegation of Bateson's self-contradictions, are balanced by Maas' admiration for the attempt to map the mind from inside and out, and by Booth's assertion that Bateson's marriage of the studies of the sciences and the humanities is the way forward.
