Juno's five-year trip to Jupiter includes an initial two-year orbit of the Sun, a fly-by maneuver of the Earth to increase the spacecraft's speed, then a three-year arc to Jupiter. Its first, or capture, orbit of Jupiter will last 107 days. After that, it will execute 32 eleven-day orbits of the planet.
