Isi artikel
The paper argues that children's games often teach important thinking skills and may be structured to coincide with cognitive "sensitive moments." To support this view, tentative results of seventeen experiments with 424 class I (five and one-half to six and one-half year old) children are reported. The author also discusses a sampling of children's games and proposes a classification system whereby some important games may be selected for school curricula
