Abstract
Motorcycles are one of the most popular of transportation used, especially in major cities. The main reason why the motorcycle most commonly used because it is considered more efficient and has a size that is not too large as four-wheel vehicles, especially during traffic jams. Motorcycles do not need a large space to advance, so the driver can arrive at its destination faster than four-wheeled vehicles that must await the traffic jam. Fuel consumption is more efficient also become one of the main reasons the use of motorcycles. Fuel is often used on the rider is a premium type of fuel oil. Today the use of premium, especially in Indonesia, its use was restricted by the government due to a limited supply of the fuel and the fuel subsidies. So expect people to switch to using fuel other than premium. In this study the author uses fuel gas as an alternative fuel on a motorcycle 4 stroke. The type of fuel gas used is LPG (Liquifed Petroleum Gas), the type of fuel gas that is commonly used for domestic purposes. When this test would to determine exhaust gas emissions, performance and fuel consumption, between premium and LPG.
