D. Miguel de Unamuno. one of the most outstanding figures in contemporary Spanish literature, has been buried in bibliography. This bibliophilism has fo-cused its studies on certain poetic, fictional or dramatic works and on structural analysis of these works. Nevertheless, there are scarcely studies that have gleaned his writing for his fictional conception. Unfortunately, the scant attempts in this direction have resulted in interpretive misunderstanding, as a result of Jebutes about his writings of occasional and random nature. The current study endeavours to svstemize his fictional conception throughout the length and the breadth of his vast oeuvre. studying in depth its literary means and aims and. in this way. to provide a more complete and accurate view of the Basque writer.
