Trends in computer hardware and software have opened the door for sophisticated graphic design in program delivery. Interactive videodisc (IVD) and computer based instruction (CBI) authoring software often include graphics. Graphic capability, once the exclusive domain of the artist, is now available for home systems. Changes in the availability of graphic technoligy mean that an instructional developer/designer must deal with graphics and text relationships when materials are developed for presentations.
