UD. Alam Karya is a medium scale industry that their process production was done manually, this manual production evoked workers to perform non value added motion. This research aims to get standard time, perform analysis and make suggestions on the results of comparing methods of work.. THERBLIG’s method was required to identify basic elements movement done by the operator. From the results of this study show that using the best working methods can be defined standard times for each process, the standard time side cutting process is 41.88s following the second method, the standard time for cutting to form the pillar is 50.88s following the second method, the standard time for shaving the surface of pillar 135.6s following the third method, the standard time for shaving the side pillar is 53.76s following the third method, the standard time for shaping cavity of pillar is 27.12s following the second method, the standard time for shaving the side of panel 43.02s following the third method, the standard time for shaving the surface of panel is 51.9s following the third method, the standard time for shaping cavity of panel is 19.92s following the first method, the standard time for shaping of panel’s joint is 109.56s following the first method, the standard time for shaving the content of the door is 194.1s following the third method, the standard time for shaving the side of the content of the door is 24.72 following the third methods, the standard time for shaving upper or bellow profiles is 39.12s following the second method, the standard time for shaving the side profiles is 159.78s following the third method, the standard time for assembling the door is 208.6s following the third method, the standard time for cutting the over pillar is 89.88s following the second method. |
