Abstract
Along with the development of the times, more and more manufacturing companies increase productivity levels of production. In that case, production scheduling is important. PT. Indah Jaya Textile Industry is a company engaged in manufacturing, so as to fulfill production orders, the company is expected to make optimal scheduling. PT. Indah Jaya Textile Industry has been delayed 20%. The purpose of this study for the proposal on production scheduling using the Modification of Bee Colony Algorithm. This method is used to prevent delays in the production week period – 1 January 2016. Modification Bee Colony methods are at the stage of foraging (generating solution). In this study, using heuristic methods CDS, Palmer and Pour the solution generation stage. Results from this study is the smallest makespan with a probability value of 0.60 ri is on CDS method for k = 2. Besides makespan, tardiness is also an important factor. Tardiness is generated in the calculation is not there and is close to 0. This method is recommended to be the best option because there are no delays to the order of the proposed production process and the company's actual makespan is much larger than the makespan calculation results using a modified method of bee colony algorithm.
