Abstract
Typesetting flammable warehouse at PT. XYZ is not organized and well-structured so it can not accommodate all the needs of the product optimally. Storage conditions at this time, laying the product has not been coordinated, the width of the alley is not in accordance with the rules of the warehouse, pallet and product presence in the alley outside the warehouse and the problems facing the company. Realignment of flammable warehouse layout is done using class-based storage and dedicated storage to minimize the displacement distance requirements based on product transactions. Based storage class method that divides the product in its class that is fast moving product then classed fast moving, long products classified slow moving displacement. Methods dedicated shared storage form the two alternatives are distinguished by the preparation of a position on the pallet. Preparation of the first alternative product on the pallet will be arranged horizontally and vertically arranged a second alternative. Group types of products each calculating flow rate to determine the location of product placement on a pallet and pallet needs. Distance track with class-based method of 1249.49 m with a 54% reduction of the initial conditions and a total cost of Rp 3.438.500,00 with a 6.44% reduction of the initial conditions. In the first alternative storage methods has dedicated a total distance of 1139.80 m track with a 58% reduction of the initial conditions and total cost of Rp 3.427.500,00 with a 6.73% reduction of the initial conditions. In the second alternative method of dedicated storage has a total track distance of 1235.38 m with a 55% reduction of the initial conditions and a total cost of Rp 3.427.500,00 with a 6.73% reduction of the initial conditions. The best method is a method that generates the distance and the least cost alternative is the method first dedicated storage
