PT. Kurabo Manunggal Textile Industries is a company that manufactures industrial fabric. PT. Kurabo Manunggal Textile Industries is already trusted by many textile companies residing in Japan as a supplier of many different types of basic fabrics. Therefore, to give priority to the satisfaction of the consumer, then the PT Kurabo Manunggal Textile Industries is concerned the level of the quality of the fabric to conform with the standards and the demand. The amount of fabric grade C exceed maximum predetermined targets, i.e. 0.7%. This causes a decrease in the value of the benefits as well as increasing the value of losses due to the process of weaving and also the use of threads. To find out the level of sigma products woven fabric that is affected by the product does not meet the specification, the method used is the approach method of Six Sigma approach using DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). Stages of Defiine done by knowing the real problem, the establishment of a team of six sigma SIPOC, creation of OPC and. Stages of the Measure do the calculations of Critical to Quality (CTQ), Map U, Process Capability, Defects per Million Opportunities (DPMO) and sigma levels, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and Pareto Chart. The stage of the analysis is performed with the use of fishbone diagram, FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis). Stage of implementations is using SOP to improve, so that production can be controlled at this stage of Control. Based on the results of the calculations and analysis with the DMAIC approach, then the problems that occur in the PT. Kurabo Manunggal Textile Industries were affected by 3 main categories, material, machine and manpower, by a factor of the machine as a factor most affecting. Sigma level 4.23 on stage measure shows the need for improvements to reach the target of 6 sigma. For it is recommended to implement care looms in part censor, connector bar, serfoamp, realtension and wind pressure. Based on an implementation that has been made, the proportion of defective product after implementations smaller than the proportion of defective product prior to implementation. This shows that the proposal provided already appropriate to reduce the number of defective products. And this implementation should be controlled well by using good material type selection and the use of a number of machines and the same treatment.
