Transportable Medical Refrigerator is a medical device used to carry, store, and preserve the quality of drugs. The cooling system is achieved by using a thermoelectric module. Thermoelectric module is a tool that enables electrical energy to thermal energy and vice-versa. By the Peltier effect, thermal energy generated through the two sides of the module have differing temperatures (hot and cold). It is the cold aspect of this thermoelectric module that is used for the cooling system of the transportable medical refrigerator by using heat transfer analysis. To make this device it is needed to know heatsink measure specification, cooling capacity by 12Vdc fan, input power, and the thermoelectric module specification according to the desirable cooling level. |
