Abstract
PT. Sinar Putra Nusa Intan is a company that manufactures electric cables bertengangan low. Problems often occur on the floor of a factory are any discrepancies in the quality of the cable NYM 2 x 1.5 mm2 this would lead to a decrease in demand from consumers and would be harmful to consumers when using them. A bad result in the cable can not remove it from the production process because the machine is one of the warring fakor very important in the quality of available cables and conductors hasilkan.Akibatnya isoaltor value of a cable can be good or bad according to the settings of existing machines. Typically many companies that understand the combinations that work in getting the most from the machine in because of the costs incurred to know quite expensive.This would cause financial losses for the company in an amount large enough for the company will find it difficult to meet customer demand. For the analysis of optimal settings are identified for NYM cables using the design of experiments, Taguchi and Response Surface methods that can be calculated total on cable quality in comparison with waste that should be on the responsibility of the company resulting from cable does not meet specifications in charge (SNI). To make the process of identification of waste need to know the data cables owned terytama the most salable cable NYM cable is then compared with the waste do sebeum in the implementation of machine settings.Analysis to get the best quality at the cable insulator assessed on the basis of the test by using a tester and conductor insulator using double bridge tester.
