In USA, the research for NLR reference value had been done but in Indonesia has not been done yet. The purpose of this research is to get the NLR reference value for Indonesian which sample is students of Medical Faculty 2013 of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. This research is using cross sectional study and NLR value is obtained from leukocyte differential counts. The data was analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Independent T test. The results of this research shows the reference value of NLR for Indonesian is 1.34 ± 0.17 (1.17 – 1.51) and NLR value is the same for men and women, therefore NLR value is not influenced by gender.
