Overweight due to an imbalance between the amount of energy that goes with being issued. One of the factors that influence obesity is eating behavior. Eating behavior is anything that can affect a person in choosing the food they eat from the type of food, how food intake regulation, and the selection of food. Eating behavior in children are divided into three major aspects of emotional eating, eating restraint, and external eating. METHODS : This research is an analytic study with cross-sectional study by taking the respondents were 97 students selected with consecutive sampling method in SD Methodist, North Jakarta. Data was collected through questionnaires by the Methodist elementary school students who then do sum score by investigators. Analysis using Chi Square test with a significance value of 95%. RESULTS : Analitic test results confirmed there is a significant relation between restraint eating and obesity (p=0,01). There is no significant relation between obesity with emotional eating ( p = 0,272 ) and external eating ( p = 0,777).
