HIV prevention outcome projects that have resulted in objective evidence of risk behavior change are then reviewed, with particular emphasis on the shared or common characteristics of these efficacious interventions. Key prevention issues of which we still have limited knowledge are considered, and potential ways to incorporate improved HW pre . vention activities in applied service program settings are discussed.
