Abstract
Otomation in material handling, which is an important part in production process, can increase the level of convenience, efficiency, and accuracy in the production process. In this final project will discuss how to design and built automation system for the material handling for packaging with PLC. This system uses two vacuum gripper, each has four suction cup in order to transport four objects alternately at a time. Pneumatic linear actuator is used to raise and lower the arm and a DC motor is used to rotate the arm. Based on the result, material handling system for packaging can move alternately four objects at a time into the packing box.
