Coating used to protect structural steel pipes ranging from cheap to expensive. the more expensive a coating system, will perform better and durable than cheap coating system. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the production a coating process to meet the desired standards on steel pipe SA 106 Grade B according to national quality standards. The problem is how the standard application of liquid coatings on steel pipes SA 106 Grade B. by using the methods of experimental and theoretical research. It can be concluded that the result on the coated surface is very satisfying because the application of liquid coatings application of existing standards are based on ISO standard coating application 19-9001-2001.
