This study aims to prove whether there is influence of the working environment, manager support, and career development that may affect the retention of employees at Company X, and what is the most influential on the retention of employees of Company X. The reason to do this study because of turnover that occurs in Company X continues to be a problem in the months of beginning, middle, and end during the last three years from 2013 to 2015. variable of work environment, manager support, and career development found from the free survey writer asking from employees of Company X which make them not survive in there.Then, three variables were tested again by a questionnaire that has been made with statements relating to the work environment, manager support, and career development based on the theory that has been collected. Writer distributing via online questionnaire to all employees of Company X as many as 183 employees, and the return are 107 questionnaires. This study was conducted from September to December 2015. This study was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that all three variables: the working environment, manager support, and career development affect the retention of employees of Company X, and the most influential variable for the retention of employees of Company X is career development, so these variables need to be considered by the management as well as HR Company X. |
