Abstract
PT. Inti Ganda Perdana is a company which engaged in the field of automotive with the products are Rear Axle and Propeller Shaft that will be marketed to local and aboard. At the warehouse division, operators at each work station has a different workloads. For identification the issues approach mental workload measurement using NASA-TLX method. NAS-TLX method's being one of the methods used to calculate the value of mental workload, whether mental workload at the work station included in kaetgori under workload, medium, or high workload. NASA-TLX has 6 measurement indicators, namely the Mental Demand, Physical Demand, Demand Temporal, Own Performance, Effort, and frustation. Based on the measurement of mental workload to 64 people carrier, may look warehouse division of PT. Inti Ganda Perdana has an average value of Workload Weighted Mean of 53.14, which means that the mental workload is already quite optimal for workers. There are two stations had work experience under the workload that is at the work station supply small part RA A and at the work station assembling part PS 2 & 3 joint. The proposal can be given to both the work station is to determine the optimal number of operators to each work station to the results of each 2 operator at the work station. To implement this calculation, the next is to provide a proposal that aims to eliminate double handling, double walking, and to reduce loading time. After repairs, the operator working time can be reduced by 7285 seconds, and the operator can be reduced to two operators only.
