PT. Citra Jaya Gemilang is a manufacturing company that produces plastic products. In conducting its business, the process of delivering and presentation of information is important to support activities that take place in the company. In the current condition, information delivery on PT. Citra Jaya Gemilang is still using manual systems, namely through the medium of telephones and media supplies form for the supply system. Problems that are occurring at this time are the frequent delays in ordering raw materials to the supplier because the information about the amount of raw materials in the warehouse is not known by the parties involved in the supply system. Based on these problems, then the purpose of this research is to analyze the current supply information system, analyzing the proposed supply information system and the current supply information system with the proposal.In conducting this study, the FAST approach method is used, containing stages in the life cycle of the system. The proposed web-based system is constructed by using a SQL database server and SQL Express software. For the supply model, the EOQ model is used by considering the characteristics of the object under research. The results of this research program is a supply system which is used for all the processes that take place starting from the purchase of raw materials, storage of raw materials and finished goods, to the process of selling finished goods to consumers. All these processes are carried out with the help of the program, thereby reducing the use of paper forms which is usually done on a manual system. Meanwhile, the calculation of the EOQ, resulted in optimal number of reservations for each type of raw material. HIP plastic ore types has an EOQ value of 64 kg, PP plastic ore as much as 59 kg, ABS plastic ore as much as 92 kg, and ASPS plastic ore as much as 86 kg. The EOQ calculation also resulted in the reorder point of 100 kg. Other functions of the proposed program system is to help prevent the condition of shortage of raw materials in the warehouse, where the program will send an alert if the amount of raw material available is less than the predetermined minimum reorder point, that is equal to the amount obtained from the calculation. However, there is still a need for improvements to the proposed information system based on the criteria that have not been met. Thus the designed supply information system can resolve the existing problems in the company. |
