There is the problem of transportation in material handling due to the distance between the machines that are not taken into account by the company. PT XYZ less aware that the arrangement of the layout of the production floor is important to watch out for. Inefficient layout Setup can cause total moment of the larger displacement and also enlarge the used material handling costs. Research carried out using the method of CRAFT and BLOCPLAN. The method compared to the current condition of the MHPS. Craft is a remedial program, the program is looking for optimum design with layout make improvements gradually. Blocplan was chosen because of its simple operation system and can consider the exchange of indoor location based on entanglement on the flow of the production process. Blocplan material costs are much lower compared to other methods because of a lack of mileage is skipped for the production process.
