Abstract
In this modern era, technology has been advancing at a high pace. Especially in industrial technology. This advancement has benefits in making human to be more productive in what they do to. There are many tasks in industrial factory that could not be done by a human being. Some tasks in industrial environment might not suitable to be performed by human, for example moving heavy objects. This final project presents the development of an arm robot with two degree of freedom that will be used to move objects from one location to another location. This arm robot uses two motors that are controlled by EV3 Brick – a programmable controller for various purpose in LEGOTM environment. The arm robot moves based on events of several push buttons with the inclusion of ultrasonic sensor connected by EV3 Brick. The program result translation motion to the left or right. At the end of this task has been successfully designed mechatronics system for arm robot with two degrees of freedom with Lego EV3 Brick that can be used to move an object from one place to another.
