A Djoko-Lock profile of glass fiber reinforced plastic composite material roofing sheet is a roof that has a crest height of 50 mm with a mechanical locking system that does not require perforations in the process of installation so that the roof is free of leaks. In this final project will be designed and manufactured special height crest profile of Djoko-Lock roofing sheet with crest height of 90 mm. The advantages of height crest profile is the profile has a high rainfall capacity even though at a low angle (1°-5°). After the roof was produced using a continuous laminating machine, the performance of the roof structure will be valuated which includes an experimental simulation of human stamps load and wind load with a 1,2 m length of gording. From the experimen results it can be declared that the roof can safely withstand the human stamps force of 1666 N with a maximum deflection of 33,41 mm, while for the simulation of wind load results is the roof only able to withstand a wind force of 127,604 N/m2, equivalent to wind speed of 28 mph or 46 km/h. Then will be created a finite element model of the roof that has been produced on SolidWork software so the static simulation can be perform with the help of computer within the load range of 1127 N up to 2695 N to obtain valid simulation results. |
