The objectives of research are: (1) to know the qualification of teacher in elementary (SO-MI) in academic in Banjar regency: (2) to know the pedagogic competence and professionalism of teacher in elementary (SOMI) in Banjar regency. Population of research is all of elementary teachers (SO-MI) in Banjar Regency in academic year 2008. Remind the population is too big, so the researcher did the sampling technique. Sample is taken based on zone sample and school sample. Collecting data is done with questionnaire technique, interview, and documentation. Oata that had been got is analysed with descriptive. The result of research showed the qualification of elementary teacher (SO-MI) in Banjar regency are dominated by teacher who the background education is under S-1. Pedagogic competence and professionalism of teacher in elementary teachers (SO-MI) almost a third is under and the less competence level.
