The prevalence of helminthiasis in the world is relatively high. Gastrointestinal nematodes are one of the most frequent causes of helminthiasis. The uses of plants as medicine are common. One of them are Carica papaya. Each part of C. papaya can be consumed or used as medicine. Nowadays, C. papaya has been noted as anthelminthic. Its ability as an anthelmincthic can be found in almost every part of it. Some research found there are many compound in C. papaya that have a potential as anthelmintic. in other research, C. papaya was shown to posses anthelmintic ability against some gastrointestinal nematode.
