Abstract
PT. Mitra Abadiraya Sukses is a company which produce footwear such as shoes especially sport shoes and sandals. One of the problem that occurs at PT. Mitra Abadiraya Sukses is the high rate of employee turnover which it must be concern by company because the high level of employee turnover would affect the productivity and inflict a financial loss. Moreover, the monthly production target has never been reached 100% and employees absenteeism exceeded the limits that sets by the company. The best turnover predictor is the employees that have a desire to go forth or devolve workplace (turnover intention). Turnover intention can be affected by several factors such as job satisfaction, job stress, and workload. Therefore, this study aims to determine the influence of workload, job stress, and job satisfaction to employee turnover intention. Through this study, expected to be known which variables most affect employee turnover intention so that it can be the evaluation for company to overcome the high rate of employee turnover. The data collection is done by using questionnaire that uses puposive sampling technique with a total sample of 154 respondents, while researcher applied Structural Equation Modelling method for data processing in LISREL 8.7. The result showed that the workload influence on work stress, workload influence on job satisfaction, job stress influence on job satisfaction, workload influence on turnover intention, job stress influence on turnover intention and job satisfaction influence on employee turnover intention of PT. Mitra Abadiraya Sukses. Job satisfaction variables are the biggest influence on employee turnover intention. Therefore, PT. Mitra Abadiraya Sukses should improve their employee job satisfaction to decrease the employee turnover intention.
