The purposeof this research are : (1) to descriptive how much the mean of gender stereotypy in illustration pictures in text of civic education book in elementary school that had been an object is man; (2) to descriptive how much the mean of gender stereotypy in illustration pictures in text of civic education book in elementary school that had been an object in women; (3) to descriptive how much the mean of gender stereotypy in illustration pictures in text of civic education book in elementary school that had been an object are man and women. The object of this researh is the illustration picture in text of civic education book for elemenetary shool that has curriculum 1994 supplemen from the maker are Eriangga, Tiga Serangkai, Aneka llmu, and Yudistira. The object picture that it's mean is to visualize the mean of gender. The result of this research showed that from 12 text of civic education book for elemtary school that has analysis, the amount of all of illustration pitures are mounting to 573 pictures with illustration pictures percentage with the object is man, in fact the most many there are 362 pictures (63%). Whereas the illustration pictures with the woman is an object only 81 pictures (14%) and the illustration pictures with the object are man and woman, amounting to 130 pictures (23%). From this study of 362 illustration pictures that the object is man that show the mean of man stereotypy is amounting to 77 pictures (21%) and that did not, is amounting to 285 pictures (79%). The study of 81 illustration pictures that the women as an object, that mean stereotypy woman is amounting to 14 pictures (17%) and that the mean is not stereotypy woman is amounting to 67 pictures (83%). The study of 130 illustration pictures that the object is man and woman, that had the mean of stereotypy man and woman are amounting to 98 pictures (75%) and that is not them, amounting to 32 pictures (25%),
