There was no upset like at the Democrat congress in Bandung where Anas Urbaningrum snatched victory in the election for party chairman. Nor was there a stirring speech like Megawati Sukarnoputri’s, which brought many onlookers to tears, at the PDI-P congress in Bali. Instead, the recent congress in Jakarta of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) was remarkable for its theme. “PKS untuk semua,” read banners, buttons, and handouts: PKS for all.
