Isi artikel
The government is currently preparing a decree to give the Indonesian military (TNI) the lead in cracking down on terrorist cells in Indonesia; the Police will take on a supporting investigative role. The theory behind the decree (known in Indonesian by the acronym RPP) is that terrorism is an extraordinary crime that should be handled by multiple departments. Thus, the police should not dominate the operation and should share information with the military.
