The objective of this study is to examine the effect of role perception, fairness perception, and emotional intelligence toward Organizational Citizenship Behavior. The reason of this study is solely on the issue about increment number of attrition in Company X when there is also an increment in salary on 2015 compared to the number of attrition and salary increment in 2014. It means, there is another reason beside financial reason that affects employees to stay or leave the company. Previous studies show there is a significant impact between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and the intention to resign. If we know which variables that would affect Organizational Citizenship Behavior, we could do some preventive actions to reduce the number of attrition in Company X. This study use role perception, fairness perception, emotional intelligence, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior’s questionnaires on online form. Census method was used, so all the 60 employees were given the questionnaires. 19 employees were managerial level and 41 employees were staff level. 34 employees were male and 26 employees were female. Analysis of regression was used to analyze the data. This study was conducted during December 2015 to January 2016. The result of this study shows that role perception, fairness perception, and emotional intelligence have significant effect toward Organizational Citizenship Behavior, both when observed together or observed alone. |
