The used-grease should be processed first before thrown away in order not to contaminate the environment. In processing the used-greased preliminary oil separation which separates oil from water needs to be conducted. Research type which used is the true-experimental. The instrument to collect the data is. a separation box of liquid pollutant processing installation. The variable to observe is grease content of separation box IPAL outlet. The grease content analysis of liquid pollutant requires gravimetrical method. Computer software is necessary tor data processing. t test, linear regression, and paired t test analyses are used to test the hypothesis. The result shows that, based on the t test analysis, oil content addition of 15, 30, 45, and 65 mgA on the 1stbox can lower grease content of 52.92%. On the box, the lowering is even greater 97.12%. Based on probability score of linier regression test, the P-value is 0.382>0.05 of significance, meaning that there is no effect of outlet oil content from separation box on the separation level. Separation box IPAL is very beneficial for the society because the total score of questionnaire data is 90.72,which is in the range of 80-100. Separation box IPAL is beneficial tor the society anytime it is needed for it is easy to maintain and operate, increases the environment to be healthy and clean, decreases the water pollution and is cheap to make.
