Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the education of the disadvantaged children in Indonesia, 111 this study, the focus of analysis was on the education of street children and children who have conflict with the law. Four studies were carried out by implementing interviews and locus group discussions. In the case of street children interviews was implemented with three street children (2 girls and 1 boy), and two adults who provide educational services for street children. For the working children in the street, interviews was carried out with three children (2 boys and I girl), and a mother who work in the street as jockeys of 3 in l. The focus of the street children education was on the community services provided for street children and factors that push chilodren to work in the street. The studies were carried out in Jakarta. In the case of children who have conflict with the law, the study implemented three focus group discussion and key inforrnan interview with the head 01' education division of the children penitentiary in Tangerang. The study of children who have conflict with the law, emphasize on the implementation of vocational education and reproductive health education for children who lived in penitentiary.
