The prevalence of diabetes mellitus increased in developing countries where in the endemic tuberculosis countries. Tuberculosis or TB is a disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis’ patients with diabetes were proven increase mortality, had longer illness period, and big risk to reactivate tuberculosis after being declared cured. Methods : This research used cross sectional method that took medical record data of 96 patients at Atma Jaya Hospital in October – Desember 2014. Results : The result of this research showed that there was no significant difference between type 2 DM patients and patients without type 2 DM with tuberculosis cases (CI 95%, ?=0,804), correlation value was 0,000 which means no correlation between type 2 diabetes and lung tuberculosis. Conclusion : Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were not have a bigger risk to develop tuberculosis compared to patients without type 2 diabetes mellitus.
