It can be seen in the condition of the warehouse that the condition appears is there were many packs of recycle (plastic recycling) in the finished goods warehouse so which constricts a land for storing finished products and it was accumulation of material goods in the warehouse resulting in the finished goods warehouse so can not accommodate all of the results production. In arrangement the layout of finished goods warehouse it can be resolved by using the dedicated storage method to minimize placement distance needs in operation storage. And also a method of class-based storage that divides products in accordance with its group that is rapid move goods is classified to fast moving group, then goods with long movements grouping to slow moving group and goods are rarely or departed not classed to non-moving group. A method of dedicated storage divided into 2 alternative where differentiated based on the preparation of a product on pallet position. Roll product has a total flow rate less than 10 % of the total flow rate goods are produced in PT. Dutarama Indah Setia. So that calculation and the in the freight warehouse be separated by the kind of product pack.
