Inappropriate work activity can cause musculoskeletal disorder (MSD). MSD can be the source of many disadvantages such as high rate of absence among workers, high corporate expenditure on medication, and lowered productivity. Problems occurred in small-scale industry such as CV. Vitalindo Perkasa and PD. Glennindo Pratama is the deficit of knowledge and ability of conducting an assessment regarding working activity. Pilot study shows no existence of hazard evaluation system on the company, though workers have given complaints due to pain on their body. There’s an urgency of developing a decision making application as a tool to ease a job risk assessment activity. Job risk assessment application has the aim to show the level of risk contained by a job, show the cause of risk, and give recommendations to lower the level of risk. Methods that are used as basis of application are QEC, ART, and Rodgers Muscle Fatigue Analysis. Assessment using ART shows lower risk contained by a job than QEC does, while Rodgers shows potential fatigue on worker’s muscles. Job risk assessment application has good level of usability (>68%). Wilcoxon test on the number of error and time needed to complete an assessment shows sig. 1-tailed < a, meaning that error and time needed on the second trial are lower than the first trial. |
