Manually tasks frequently induce complaints for workers. It could interfere the productivity of the company. The main objective of this study is to assess the fabric rolling station workers’ risk level in PD. Primary Glennindo. This matter caused by the pain and stiffness in the work station. There are five elements of work in the fabric rolling station, which taking the fabric, opening the fabric, inserting fabric, directing and carrying cloth fabric. There are three methods used to assess the risk level : Assessment of Repetitive Tasks (ART) and Quick Exposure Checklist (QEC), which both are used to assess the level of risk on the upper limb of the body. Meanwhile, the Manual Task Risk Assessment (MANTRA) is used to assess the risk level of the upper and lower limb of the body From the results, it was concluded that the three methods decided that opening the fabric and directing the fabric have higher level of risk to the workers. Thus, the researcher suggested that workers should improve the body position while working for opening fabric activites and a roller equipment to be put in front of the machine as a helper to directing fabric activities. |
