Tacit knowledge is the knowledge that contains in our brain/mind in accordance with the understanding, skills and experience of a person. Mostly, this knowledge are unstructure, difficult to define with formal language and the content include personal understanding. Tacit knowledge can be a valuable asset for the company because of tacit knowledge contains knowledge from everyday experience, if shared would be very helpful and beneficial to all stakeholders in the company to resolve the problem or broaden knowledge. EFQM is a performance measurement method that measure existing knowledge in the company and how the company manages the knowledge. This research aims to determine the effect of tacit knowledge exchange to business results by using the EFQM framework. The method used is quantitative method with the object of research are workers of PT Nipsea Paint and Chemicals. The number of samples in this research were 165 respondents. Data collection method using a questionnaire with Likert scale. Processing data using structural equation modeling (SEM) with AMOS 21. The results of this research is a model that has met the criteria of goodness of fit Chi-square, CMIN / DF, GFI, AGFI, RMSEA and PNFI. Based on the research results, obtained 3 hypothesis that had relationship which are people have negative effect on tacit knowledge exchange, strategy have positive effect on tacit knowledge exchange and tacit knowledge exchange have positive effect on business results. Subsequently, there is one hypothesis that have no relationship which is leadership have not effect on tacit knowledge exchange. |
