Abstract
This research is based by the phenomenon the increasing competition in the natural stone industry. To still be able survive in the intense of the competition, the company must be able to produce products that have a good quality. A good quality product can be produced if the workers have a good performance. The performance of the workers can be influenced by many things, such as persuasive communication, need fulfillment, and motivation. Therefore, through this research is done by analysing the influence of persuasive communication, need fulfillment to workers motivation and performance. It is hoped to be known whether the persuasive communication variable and need fulfillment variable influenced the motivation and performance variable or not. If they have influenced, it can be seen how big the influence of these variables on the workers performance so that they could be an evaluation for the company. The final results of this research is persuasive communication and need fulfillment influenced the workers motivation and performance. This analysis is based on primary data which is the result of the research questionnaires that processed by using LISREL 8.70 software. Based on the structural equation modelling is known that the need fulfillment has more influence on motivation than persuasive communication, while persuasive communication has more influence on performance than need fulfillment and motivation.
