The children at the age of puberty will be very curious about everything, including about sexuality. Children may have the right information about sexuality along with the reproductive health education. Without good reproductive health education the curiousity of children can be answered with wrong perception and the child can search for the answer in internet. Because of the pornography in internet, children can get bad psychologycal effect. Objective: To know the role of reproductive health education for knowledge on fifth and sixth grade student before and after the education was given Methods: This experiment was an experimental study with comparative analytical research design categorical pairs. Writer give intervention to the students as sexual education and then writer will assess the improvement of knowledge after the intervention. To assess the improvement of knowledge about sex education writer will give pre-test and post-test, then writer will compare the knowledge between schoolboy and schoolgirl. Results: The results of this study showed there was a significant increase in the level of knowledge after reproductive health education (Wilcoxon test, p value=0,00) Conclusion: The reproductive health knowledge of fifth and sixth grade students on SD Karitas and SD Santo Yosep Purwokerto was less and increased after reproductive health education, so that reproductive health education is needed.
