Less research was done on the detection of JCV T-Ag expression in colon cancer, including in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to detect JCV T-Ag expression in colon adenocarcinoma at Anatomic Pathology Laboratory, School of Medicine Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia / Atma Jaya Hospital for 5 Years (2010-2014) Material and Methods: Analytic descriptive, cross-sectional study, all of the samples' paraffin blocks were taken from low and high grade adenocarcinoma of the colon at Anatomic Pathology Laboratory, School of Medicine Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia / Atma Jaya Hospital for 5 Years (2010-2014). These samples were reviewed from HE slides to determine the histopathological diagnosis and the grading. We performed immunohistochemistry staining with monoclonal antibody anti-SV40-T-Ag to detect JCV T-Ag expression. Result : There were 16 samples of colon adenocarcinoma divided into 14 (87.5%) were low grade and 2 (12.5%) were high grade. Positive expression of JCV T-Ag was detected in 2 (12.5%) low grade adenocarcinoma of the colon and 14 (87.5%) were negative.
