Background : Chronic kidney disease is a disease that commonly ended by kidney failure. Indonesian Nephrology Association (PERNEFRI) told that Indonesia had a great prevalence of chronic kidney disease which was about 30,7 million people. Anemia is one of the complication that frequently occurs in chronic kidney disease. Population study of National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) from National Institutes of Health and Prevalence of Anemia in Early Renal Insufficiency (PAERI) clarified that prevalence of anemia in chronic kidney disease was 15.4% where the occurrence of anemia increases as the grade of the chronic kidney disease. Grade 1 was 8,4%, 12,2% for grade 2, 17,4% for grade 3, 50,3% for grade 4, and 53,4% for grade 5. Methods : This research was a descriptive research with cross sectional methods. Samples were medical records of chronic kidney disease patients that suffer anemia in Kramat 128 hospital. Datas including gender, age, weight, urine creatinine, haemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume, and mean corpuscular hemoglobin. Result : 67,3% chronic kidney disease patients in Kramat 128 hospital had normocytic normochrom anemia. 14,5% patients had microcytic hypochrom anemia and 5,5% had macrocytic anemia. Conclusion : Most of the chronic kidney disease patients in Kramat 128 hospital have normocytic normochrom anemia. |
