Abstract
Propeller is a principal instrument in the ship. Propeller for obtaining the good he deserves consideration of casting process. There are defects in the product when it would make the quality of the product, generally a disability that happened is defect porosity. The final duty will be discussing the redesigned riser in the sand casting a propeller. Research is aimed to know the difference by using the riser casting and the riser in every single propeller leaves. The riser used having tall theoretical 72 mm but in his actual having tall 150 mm. result of research shows that casting using riser on each leaves produce castings with minimum porosity, rather then using one riser.
