Background: Filariasis is an important tropical disease in Indonesia with Culex quinquefasciatus female mosquitos as infecting vector. These fore, It needs to develop a natural insecticide. Sereh (Cymbopogan nardus) is a common plant that we can find in everywhere, and it can be function as natural larvacide. This Study was conducted to know the effectivity of leave and steams sereh in ashes form as larvacide of culex quinquefasciatus larvae, it's LC 50, LC 90, and LT 90 is also studied Design and Method: Experimental study with post test - randomized control group design. The samples were 3th instar Culex quinquefasciatus larvae. Data can be found from total of death larvae in all groups. Kruskal Wallis test was used to analyze the significont differences among groups. Probit procedure was used to determine LC 50, LC 90, and LT 90. Result: Kruskal Wallis test have showed significant differences among groups, e.i 0,006 (p < 0,05). Probit procedure have showed LC 50 leaves and steams of Sereh ashes with 1,83 mg/300 ml concentration (1,69 - ¬2,01), and in LC 90 with 2,55 mg/300 ml concentration (2,32 - 2,88). LT 90 with 1,6 mg/300 ml concentration have killed larvae on 31,65 days (23,13 - 57,77) and LT 90 with 3,2 mg/300 ml concentration have killed larvae on 4,63 days (4,03 - 5,31). Conclusion: Residues of leaves and steams of Sereh ashes effective as Culex quinquefasciatus larvicide, so it can be used to decrease mosquitos resistency which have extended and uncontrolled
